Towage

Chart Shipping sources tugs for ocean and coastal towage. Our CHARTSHIP© database covers the global tug fleet and enables us to track positions of vessels engaged in international ‘tramp’ style work, as well those operating from particular ports or regions. We have experience in towage and escort of a very wide variety of tows including work barges, Jackups, Semi-Submersibles and FPSOs, and rescue towage of ships in distress.

Apart from specific A to B towage requirements, we also assist in requirements for dedicated port or terminal tugs. Here again, our clients can employ our integrated tendering service to ensure they get the widest choice of candidates.

As well as wet towage, we cover the market for dry transportation.
